There are two kinds of people during weekends, there are people who go outside and visit places because it’s impossible to do so during weekdays due to work and there are others who just like to stay in the comfort of their bed. And lately I’ve been the kind of person who would rather stay in bed because of laziness and because of my yearning for more and enough sleep. Don’t get me wrong though I always love the idea of having picnic at the park on a weekend morning and watching the sunset somewhere else. It’s a good thing that I've come to realized that I should be spending some time outside before the extreme summer heat in Dubai kicks in.
Saturday morning we decided to spend time at Jumeirah Open Beach. It was an exquisitely beautiful day. The sun was perfectly shining bright, the wind while sitting in the sand was so calming, the waves of the clear blue sea was an ear pleasing sound, collecting sea shells, feeding the pigeons with croissant and watching other people also enjoying the day brings simple feeling of happiness. I did get sunburned, skin gets a bit darker and hair a bit lighter but it was a day well spent. And it was also a good breather from the daily weekday routine and habits.
