Hi, I'm Inah!
I’m passionate about creating art and writing stories which are mostly inspired from the books I’ve read and places I’ve been. My favorite medium for artwork is watercolor and I’m still trying to get the hang of painting with oil and acrylic. I also like playing around digital art using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I’m a self taught artist and I always set my heart on learning the latest art and design trends. Through my exceptional understanding of colors, type style, illustrations and photography I am capable to develop complete content. ---
I’ve always had yearning for self expression since I was a child, be it through drawing or writing. It was circa 2011 when I discovered about making my own website through Tumblr (it was a thing back then!) Also the same year that I started feeding my mind with creativity and becoming comfortable with who I am and that I don’t have to conform with what’s mainstream in the society.
Nothing captivates me more than old and vintage stuff, I quite have an old soul. I love and support everything that’s indie from music to films and it's difficult to find a person to share those fascinations with because some people use to accompany it with the word "weird". But if you happen to like those things then "Hello! You're not alone." I always give a big smiling face to everyone. I know that our parents warned us not to talk to strangers but I used to be interested in talking to a person I don’t really know (that might be a bit crazy) especially someone who’s like Jesse or Celine, a character played by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy in the movie trilogy Before Sunrise / Sunset / Midnight directed by Richard Linklater. Someone who's witty enough to bring up a good conversation. I’ve realized though that there are a lot of big bad wolves everywhere so part of me does not believe in the kindness of strangers anymore. I also like to paint, sketch, create surreal collages, read books, write in my journal, and watch movies and documentaries in my spare time. I'm an art and literature habitué. I am very interested and curious about history and the entire stories it holds. I like to take copious amounts of pictures and videos so that I can document every moment. I like dressing up really good. Fashion, clothing and style have a huge influence on me. I believe in the power of women, her deep strength and creativity. I strove for spontaneity and I treat life as a work of art in which I consider myself to be an artist and life is my greatest canvas, although it isn’t perfect I still find it beautiful.
